About the Stannah 260 Stairlift

The Stannah 260 is designed for curved stairs. It features a slim track, microprocessor controls and lower seat height, along with a choice of four seat styles. Other optional features include a powered swivel seat and a powered or manual hinged rail.

This model is extremely versatile: it can be fitted to the inside or the outside of the staircase, maximising ease-of-use, comfort and space. The latest Sofia and Solus chairs offer the option of a two-way powered swivel seat.

Although more expensive than some, the ride quality, reliability and aesthetics make it the market leader.

About the Stannah 600 (Siena) Stairlift

The new Siena chair from Stannah is compatible with their straight 600 stairlift rails and their curved 260 stairlift rails and comes with a choice of five different vinyl upholstery colours.

This model is easy to operate by using the control system on the arm or one of two remote controls, which are supplied as standard. It is also intuitive: the stairlift will stop automatically when it reaches the end of the rail, and users can fasten the seat belt with only one hand.

When not in use, the chair seat and arms neatly fold up out of the way, and users can raise the footrest via the lever at the side of the stairlift. Most importantly, there’s no awkward bending involved when folding the chair when in its parking position!
