The Freedom Chair A08 is a high-quality, lightweight and compact outdoor/indoor folding chair for users up to 160 kg. 

It has integrated anti-tip features and dual battery for a range of up to 27 miles. The lightweight aluminum frame can be easily folded in seconds, making packing away a breeze, and requires minimal storage in small spaces, such as apartments and cruise ship cabins. 

Weighing 26.9 kg, the A08 is a powerful chair with 2 x 250w brushless motors with electromagnetic breaking. It is aeroplane ready, with built-in safety, including on-board anti-slip wheels with shock-absorbers. 

This power chair has up to three rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, meaning three times the power and range, as well as an adaptor cable for off-board charging. 

It is highly maneuverable, turning on its own axis – making it easier to use than a mobility scooter in restricted areas, such as retail spaces and lifts. The joystick steering is intuitive, with a choice of left or right-hand steering. 

The electromagnetic brakes automatically hold you on a hill as soon as the joystick is released. Motors can be set to freewheel, allowing the chair to be manually pushed by an attendant if required. 

Flip-up arm rests make side transfers in and out of your seat straightforward and useful for clearing the joystick when drawing up to tables. The joystick has a USB port and LED light, so that you can top up your smart phone on the move – handy when using battery draining navigation apps. The LED light can illuminate dark paths ahead. 

There is on board storage including an under-seat bag and a useful seat back compartment. A durable travel bag is included to protect the chair, featuring a handle to allow for rolling when in freewheel mode.
