Full Job Description

Upholsterer / Auto Trimmer / Industrial Sewing Machinist

About the opportunity

It is expected that standard working hours are 8am-4pm, but you will need to be prepared to work around this as required.

Domestic & Commercial re-upholstery of furniture using leather, vinyl & fabric
Auto-trimming re-upholstery of classic cars, recreational vehicles, motorbikes
Use of heavy & light industrial sewing machines, compressed air tools
Comfortable with project work, taking on a job from start to finish, unpicking, pattern making, upholstering.
Working accurately to customer requirements from details recorded from initial visit
Ensure communication is frequent between all departments involved with upholstery work.
Ensure quality standards are met, within acceptable output levels required
