Devon Business Expo is back for 2016

The Devon Business Expo, is one of the biggest business events in the South West region, returns to the Matford Centre in Exeter on April 28th 2016.

This follows the success of the Expo over the last 4 years, which has seen the event grow both in terms of numbers of exhibitors and attending delegates.

The event held in April 2015 featured more than a hundred exhibitors and attracted more than a thousand attendees on the day. This year promises to see those numbers increase yet again.

The Devon Business Expo is organised and sponsored by thebestof Exeter, supported by several local companies and organisations that are sponsoring specific areas of the Expo. These include Basepoint, Bristol Street Motors, Petroc, Exeter College, Business Forum Mid Devon, GHQ Training, Exminster Garage, WRFCA and Cosmic.
The Expo aims to attract a wide range of business visitors by offering lots of different features and Zones.

The New Start up Zone is back, giving an opportunity for fourteen brand new businesses to promote themselves. There will be a full programme of entertaining and informative seminars, several sessions of the popular speed networking. The bigger Food & Drink / Hospitality Zone will include live cookery demonstrations by some of the area’s top chefs. There will also be specialised Technology and Manufacturing Zones, and as always delegates will be able to take a break for refreshments in the Networking Cafe, always a good place to exchange ideas and business cards!

Stand sales have been going extremely well with around 80% of the available space already booked. Meanwhile local business people have been registering to attend on the Devon Business Expo Website. It is free for those who pre register. Those who just turn up on the day will be asked to pay a £5 donation to the show charity.

Dave Barr, Managing Director of thebestof Exeter said “I am delighted with the way things have been going so far. Many previous exhibitors have already booked again, but it is also great that many new businesses are planning to join us. Many of those are from Cornwall, Somerset and further afield. The message is: If you want to do business in Devon, you need to be at the Devon Business Expo, and I am really looking forward to hosting our best event yet on April 28th.”
